About Scott

Scott is a successful businessperson and community leader who represents all elements of the Hoboken family. His hard work, focus on positive change, results orientation, and dedication to his community are his most valuable traits.

Scott is President of Adverb Media Inc., (parent company of DigitalGrit, Inc.) a multi-million dollar Internet marketing and technology company located in Boonton N.J. An original employee, Scott contributed greatly to the company's success. He is particularly proud of the fact that DigitalGrit not only survived 9/11, the dotcom bust and a recession, but has gone on to employ 125 employess and was recognized as the Best Place to Work in New Jersey and a Top 25 Best Place to Work in America.

First moving to Hoboken in 1998, Scott is actively involved with a number of community groups including Party With Purpose (PWP), a charity he founded in Hoboken November 2002. Since its founding, PWP has delivered over $100,000 worth of grants to the Hoboken Boys and Girls Club, Jubilee Center, Hudson County CASA, Northern New Jersey Alzheimer’s Association, PAL of NYC, and Clean Ocean Action, among others.

Scott serves as Executive VP on the Board of Trustees for the Hudson County Boys and Girls Club (BGC), He takes an active role helping to build the club into the one of the most successful and largest in New Jersey. Scott was recently honored with the Boys and Girls Club Community Service Award for his dedication to his community, particularly in the Southwest part of Hoboken.

Continuing his community involvement, Scott helped start the Something Great Foundation , whose mission is to raise money and donate funds to charities fighting childhood illnesses. Two large events have been held to date raising money for the AIDS Resource Foundation for Children, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Morristown Memorial Hospital’s Goryeb Children’s Hospital BD Diabetes Center.

Providing positive leadership to children is important to Scott. He has been a mentor for a High School student attending NYC’s High School for Leadership and Public Service and a tutor for 3rd Graders at the Connors Elementary School in Hoboken.

Scott is a graduate of Syracuse University and received BA in
Political Science with a concentration in Business Management
